Drug Lab Discovered in the Heart of Bnei Brak
Police discover a cannabis lab containing 31kg of plants and cocaine in an apartment on Dangoor Street. Two men were arrested, and the residence has been ordered closed by the District Commander until March 23, 2026.

As part of an ongoing crackdown on narcotics, Israel Police detectives raided an apartment on Dangoor Street in the ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak, discovering a sophisticated laboratory suspected of being used for the cultivation and production of drugs.
Acting on a court-issued search warrant, detectives from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station entered the residence on Sunday. During the search, officers uncovered 156 Cannabis plants with a total gross weight of 31 kg and 10 grams of a substance suspected to be Cocaine, found inside a vehicle linked to the suspects.
They also found various equipment used for the indoor cultivation of illicit substances.
Two suspects were apprehended at the scene, a 25-year-old resident of Bnei Brak and a 24-year-old resident of Rehovot.
Both individuals were taken for interrogation and subsequently incarcerated. On Monday, the court extended their remand until this coming Thursday.

Following the discovery, the Tel Aviv District Commander, Commissioner Haim Sargrof, signed an administrative closure order for the apartment. The premises will remain sealed for 30 days, effective until March 23, 2026.
Police emphasized that this operation is a direct result of their "uncompromising struggle" against the spread of illegal drugs within residential neighborhoods.
