Israeli police file charges against 11 suspects in southern security case involving alleged smuggling of goods from Israel to Gaza Strip. Indictments expected next week as media outlets petition court to lift publication ban on case details. Judge's ruling on gag order pending.

Police filed a prosecutor's statement in court today (Thursday) against 11 suspects involved in a security case in the south, centered on suspicions of smuggling goods from Israel to the Gaza Strip. According to a police statement, indictments against some of those involved in the case are expected to be filed next week.
In parallel, Kan News and other media outlets submitted a petition to the court to remove the publication ban and allow full disclosure of the case details. A hearing was held today on the petition, during which the court heard arguments from both sides.
At this stage, additional details of the investigation and the suspicions remain prohibited from publication under a court-imposed gag order on the case. Judge Yaniv Ben Harosh announced that his decision on the petition will be issued later.
