Ofer "Pushko" Moskowitz Killed in Hezbollah Missile Attack on Misgav Am
Kibbutz Misgav Am mourns Ofer "Pushko" Moskowitz, killed this morning by a Hezbollah anti-tank missile. A farmer and community spokesperson, Moskowitz died after a direct hit on his vehicle. The IDF is investigating the deadly border escalation.

Authorities have released the name of the Israeli citizen killed this morning in a targeted Hezbollah strike on the northern border. The victim has been identified as Ofer Moskowitz, 60, affectionately known by his community as "Pushko."
Moskowitz was a prominent member of Kibbutz Misgav Am, where he served as a spokesperson and a dedicated farmer. In a statement issued by the community, he was described as a "symbol and a legacy for all of us."
The tragedy occurred earlier this morning (Sunday) when Hezbollah terrorists launched an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at the vehicle Moskowitz was driving within the border community. The direct hit caused the vehicle to burst into flames, trapping him inside.
While emergency teams from United Hatzalah and the IDF worked to manage the scene, additional launches were detected from Lebanon, triggering further sirens in the area. Firefighting crews battled blazes in two other vehicles that caught fire during the barrage to ensure no other individuals were trapped.
The IDF Spokesperson confirmed the strike, stating: "A short while ago, fire was identified from Lebanese territory toward a community on the northern border. There is damage and there are casualties. The incident is being investigated."
The death of Moskowitz, a civilian farmer and community leader, marks a painful escalation in the ongoing conflict along the Blue Line, as Hezbollah continues to target civilian infrastructure and vehicles with precision weaponry.
