IDF Releases Footage of Wild Overnight Strikes on Iran and Yemen | WATCH

Israel releases dramatic footage of overnight airstrikes in Iran and Yemen as part of Operation Rising Lion, showcasing precision hits on missile launchers, nuclear sites, and Houthi infrastructure. With over 200 jets involved and key Iranian commanders eliminated, the IDF asserts air superiority and vows continued action against escalating regional threats.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released dramatic video footage, showing its overnight airstrikes targeting military infrastructure in Iran and Yemen as part of Operation Rising Lion. The strikes, which hit over 80 sites in Tehran alone and key Houthi targets in Yemen, mark a significant escalation in Israel’s campaign to neutralize Iran’s nuclear ambitions and counter Iran-backed threats across the region.

The footage, shared by the IDF via its spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin, illustrates precise attacks on Iranian surface-to-surface missile launchers, air defense radars, and fuel depots used for military purposes, as well as Houthi missile infrastructure in Yemen.

One video highlights strikes on Tehran’s Defense Ministry headquarters and the Sepand nuclear project facility, which the IDF claims advanced Iran’s nuclear weapons program. “As Iran moves toward nuclear weapons and targets innocent civilians, the IDF is taking action to protect Israel and stop a threat the world can’t afford to ignore,” IDF International Spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani stated on X.

In Iran, the strikes caused significant damage, with Iranian media reporting 78 deaths, including 29 children, and over 320 injuries, though the IDF emphasized efforts to minimize civilian harm. A fire at the Shahran oil depot in Tehran and disruptions at the South Pars gas field demonstrated the operation’s impact on Iran’s energy infrastructure, per Iran’s oil ministry.

The IDF also confirmed the elimination of senior Iranian military figures, including IRGC Commander Hossein Salami and Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, alongside nine nuclear scientists. The footage shows Israeli F-35I “Adir” stealth jets and F-15s executing precision strikes, with over 200 aircraft involved, achieving “aerial superiority from western Iran to Tehran,” according to the IDF.

In Yemen, the IDF targeted Houthi missile launch and storage facilities, responding to the Iran-backed group’s recent attacks, including a confirmed Houthi missile strike alongside Iran’s barrage on Israel. The IDF aimed to degrade the Houthis’ ability to launch Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missiles, which targeted Jaffa, though no casualties were reported in the latest Yemen-launched attack. The operation follows a pattern of Houthi aggression, with over 40 missiles and dozens of drones fired at Israel since November 2023, per The Times of Israel.

The IDF’s videos also underscore Israel’s strategic goal of crippling Iran’s air defenses, with nearly all S-300 systems rendered inoperable, granting the Israeli Air Force greater operational freedom. IDF spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari emphasized, “Those who threaten the State of Israel will pay a heavy price.” The strikes on Tehran’s Atomic Energy Organization building and Natanz nuclear facility, confirmed by Iranian sources, highlight Israel’s focus on delaying Iran’s nuclear program, which the IDF claims could produce up to 15 nuclear weapons.
