IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Effie Defrin, stated today (Sunday) to CNN that the IDF is preparing for the campaign against Iran to continue for at least another three weeks. He noted that "thousands of targets" remain to be struck as part of the ongoing military activity.

According to Defrin, the IDF is operating in close coordination with the United States and maintains operational plans set to last at least until the upcoming Passover holiday, approximately three weeks away. According to IDF data, since the start of the campaign on February 28, the Israeli Air Force has conducted approximately 400 strike waves across western and central Iran. These operations have focused on infrastructure and operatives linked to the Iranian regime's missile arrays, air defenses, and production facilities.

Israeli officials added that since the outbreak of the war, Israel and the United States have jointly struck thousands of targets throughout Iran.

Brig. Gen. Defrin emphasized that the IDF is not operating according to a rigid, fixed schedule. Instead, he explained that military activity is conducted based on progress in achieving the specific strategic goals defined for the operation.

He concluded by stating that the objective of the mission is to significantly degrade and weaken the capabilities of the Iranian regime.
