Operation Rising Lion against Iran to take at least two weeks

Defense sources speaking to Ynet tonight (Thursday/Friday) said that they expect fighting with Iran to take "at least" two weeks, echoing statements by the Prime Minister and others that Operation Rising Lion will take "as many days" as necessary. According to the report, Israel will be expanding its attacks in the next 24 hours.

Defense sources also said that recent reports of Israel and the United States trying to avoid war and negotiate over the nuclear program were deliberate, aimed at "putting the Iranians to sleep," and that America is expected to join the strikes if the initial results are successful.
