Benny Sabti, a senior researcher on Iran at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), on 103FM program, spoke sharply about the difficult situation in Iran, following the wave of attacks attributed to Israel:

"I think we need a bit of patience," Sabti said. "The cost is very difficult, the numbers are not normal, I truly lament what has happened – but we are as if on the second or third day of the Six-Day War. I am waiting for the turning point for the Iranians. When I see senior nuclear scientists being eliminated, for me that is no less than destroying a facility. These are significant achievements, and therefore we need a bit more patience. Within two weeks, we will see a completely different event here."

Sabti emphasized the absence of public presence of Iranian leaders: "No one is going on television, no one is giving interviews. Press conferences that were scheduled are canceled. When the regime is not visible, it is a victory for Israel. Dictatorial regimes need to be visible. Right now, there is no effective government in Iran: the Iranians themselves say that the skies of Iran are in the hands of Israel. If this is the consciousness then the turning point is near."
