Iran has reportedly appealed to the United States and several Arab mediators to get Israel to stop the offensives in exchange for returning to diplomacy.

Day 4 of Operation Rising Lion: Iran has reportedly reached out to the United States and several Middle Eastern countries, signaling openness to renewed nuclear talks - if Israel ends its attacks, according to the Wall Street Journal.

However, much like Hamas has done during most of the hostage negotiations, Iran has signaled no interest or openness to making new concessions on its nuclear weapons program, the same kind of recalcitrance that made President Trump increasingly skeptical of negotiations with the Islamic Republic.

Israeli leaders and senior officials have repeatedly made it clear that they are uninterested in a ceasefire until they complete their strategic objectives or Iran dismantles its nuclear program.
