After two weeks of heavy heat, Israel is expected to see a temporary break in temperatures, with more comfortable weather and even a chance of light local rain in parts of the country.

The relief will not last long. After the brief drop in temperatures, weather conditions are expected to return gradually to the normal range for mid-June.

Monday, June 15, will be partly cloudy and relatively comfortable for the season. During the day, there may be drizzle or light local rain, mainly in northern Israel and along the coastal plain.

On Tuesday, June 16, the cooling trend will stop. Skies will be partly cloudy to clear, and temperatures will rise, especially in inland areas and in the mountains. The weather will return to levels close to the seasonal average.

Wednesday, June 17, will continue the warming trend. The weather is expected to be clear, with a slight additional rise in temperatures. The increase will again be felt mainly in the mountains and inland areas.

On Thursday, June 18, conditions will be relatively stable. The weather will be partly cloudy to clear, and temperatures and heat loads will be normal for the season, with no major changes expected.

Friday, June 19, will bring another slight easing as the weekend begins. The weather will remain partly cloudy to clear, with a small drop in temperatures, mainly in the mountain regions.

The coming days are expected to provide a short pause from the recent extreme heat, especially on Monday. By midweek, however, the country will return to typical June weather, with warmer days, clear skies and regular seasonal heat loads.
