742 Israeli citizens were left without a roof over their heads as a result of the Iranian attack, many of whom were evacuated by the Home Front Command to hotels across the country. Social workers from local authorities and the Ministry of Welfare are accompanying the evacuees and assisting them in exercising their rights with various authorities.

The Ministry of Welfare has transferred a flexible budget to the affected authorities for the purchase of basic essential equipment for citizens who have been evacuated from their homes.

Welfare Minister Yaakov Margi: "Welfare teams are deployed in all locations to assist citizens evacuated from their homes due to the Iranian attack. Already over the weekend, the ministry allocated dedicated resources to local authorities for this purpose. Social workers are present in hotels and family centers providing emotional support and assistance in exercising rights. I call on the general public to pay attention to vulnerable populations around them, such as the elderly or people with disabilities who need assistance, and to report to welfare services if necessary."

The Ministry of Welfare's call center 118 operates 24/7 with an increased number of social workers and is prepared to respond in several languages.
