Miracle in Jerusalem: Fuel Tank Rolls Down Onto Highway in Neve Yaakov | WATCH

An unusual incident was documented today (Thursday) on the Neve Yaakov road in northern Jerusalem. A fuel tank (the rear section of a tanker truck) that was standing disconnected from its truck on the upper roadside began rolling down for unclear reasons, broke through the separation barrier, and plunged from a height directly into the center of the highway below.

In footage circulated from the scene, the frightening moment of the fall can be seen as the massive tank lands on the road. Miraculously, vehicles traveling on that route at the time were not hit by the heavy tank, which blocked traffic lanes.

Following the incident, the Neve Yaakov route toward the south was closed to traffic, and police forces arrived at the scene to manage traffic and remove the hazard from the road.

The circumstances of the case, including the question of how the tank was left without appropriate security measures to prevent such a rollaway, are under investigation.
