Jerusalem is coming to life in the spring of 2026, and this coming weekend is the perfect opportunity to combine the city's historical charm with the vitality of its local markets and events. If you are planning a visit to the capital, do not miss these unique spots in the Mahane Yehuda Market:

Market Flavors and Traditions

Your tour should include a stop at BeerBazaar, A well known Isreals capital institution that has become a Jerusalem staple, serving original Israeli boutique beers in the market's atmosphere.

From there, continue to the famous juice shop of the late Uzi-Eli, the "Etrog Man." The shop continues Uzi-Eli's legacy, offering natural, healthy juices based on the healing properties of the etrog (citron) and medicinal herbs. For dessert, stop at one of the Jerusalem Knafe stalls for some warm, stretchy cheese pastry topped with sweet syrup and served with a cold scoop of ice cream on the side to complete the experience.

Wine, Wheels, and Everything In Between

Jerusalem is already looking ahead to the major events of the season. At the end of April 2026, The First Station compound will host the traditional Wine Festival, where you can taste the finest produce from international best wineries under the open Jerusalem sky.

outdoor enthusiasts can already register for the "Sovev Jerusalem" Bicycle Race expected to take place at the end of May, promising spectacular routes through the breathtaking landscapes of the Isreli capital.

Due to the unknown future of the ceasfire with Iran, there may be changes to the dates of major events (the Wine Festival and the Bicycle Race). It is recommended to stay updated in real-time via the Jerusalem Municipality website or the municipal Ihotline at 106.
