A devastating terror attack at Jerusalem's Ramot Junction has claimed the lives of at six people, according to the latest updates from Magen David Adom. A soldier and an armed civilian are being hailed as heroes for neutralizing the two assailants, bringing the shooting spree to an end.

The attack unfolded on a crowded Route 62 Superbus, where two terrorists boarded and opened fire with a homemade "Carlo" submachine gun. Security camera footage from the scene shows dozens of passengers fleeing in panic.

The attackers were stopped by a squad commander in the IDF's haredi Hashmonaim Brigade. and a Haredi civilian with a licensed pistol. The two men are credited with eliminating the terrorists and saving countless lives.

Israel National News reported: The yeshiva student's brother-in-law told Kol Barama Radio: "My brother-in-law was on his way to the yeshiva, he has a gun he inherited from his grandfather, and he received the license thanks to [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben Gvir's reform. He emptied the entire magazine on the terrorists. Eyewitnesses claim that the driver was a partner in the attack."

MDA medics initially reported 15 casualties, with five in critical condition. Later updates confirmed the deaths of four victims at the scene, a man in his 50s and three men in their 30s and another victim, a woman in her mid-40s, who later succumbed to her injuries.

Tragically, two more Israeli civilians succumbed to their injuries.
