Race Against the Tide: Divers Search Netanya Coastline for Missing Yeshiva Student as Brother Clings to Life
Search efforts intensify on the second day for a 17-year-old Yeshiva student missing at Sanz Beach in Netanya, while his 21-year-old brother remains in serious condition.

Rescue teams from the "Lehava" unit renewed their search operations at sunrise Sunday, scanning both sea and land for a 17-year-old youth who vanished in the waters off Netanya’s Sanz Beach this past Friday.
High-Tech Search Efforts
According to the Central District of Fire and Rescue Services, the operation involves a combination of specialized divers, rescue boats, and advanced sonar systems. The search continued without pause throughout Shabbat following an assessment by the Netanya Police Commander and emergency officials.
The Tragic Incident
The crisis began Friday afternoon when two brothers from a well-known Haredi family in Jerusalem were caught in a dangerous current.

Commitment to the Search
Dozens of police officers, volunteers, and municipal workers are operating in the sector. Chaim Outmezgine, commander of ZAKA’s special units, stated that land scans were conducted through the night, while deep-water diving resumed at first light Sunday.
"We are using all available means and capabilities," Outmezgine said. "Our goal is to locate the missing person as quickly as possible."
The public is requested to continue praying for the recovery of the brother in the hospital and for the success of the rescue teams in finding the missing youth.
