Tragic End: Body of Missing Teen from Modi'in Illit Recovered After 4 Days
Heartbreak in Modi'in Illit: The body of Moshe Ludmir was located in Nahal Modi'in on Friday. ZAKA and emergency teams concluded the search this morning.

In a heartbreaking conclusion to an intensive four-day search, the body of 17-year-old Moshe Ludmir, who was swept away in Nahal Modi'in earlier this week, has been located. The discovery was made Friday morning near the Adam facility within the stream according to reports from Israeli emergency services.
Volunteers from ZAKA, including the organization's diving unit under the command of Roi Lieberman, along with the Lehava unit and Israel Police, conducted exhaustive searches in recent days amid challenging conditions. The body is currently undergoing identification verification and will be transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for further examination and processing.
ZAKA issued a statement expressing condolences: "The ZAKA organization shares in the family's sorrow and will continue to accompany them in all that is required."The incident began when Ludmir was caught in flash flooding in the Modi'in stream, prompting widespread community involvement and prayers for his safe return. Earlier updates noted that search efforts resumed as water levels receded, but the outcome has left the ultra-Orthodox community in Modi'in Illit in mourning
