Iran's Revolutionary Guards have delivered a severe warning to German authorities and security officials, stating that if fighting resumes and Berlin is perceived as assisting the effort directly or indirectly, Germany itself will be among the targets.
The message marks a significant expansion of Iran's threats beyond the immediate theatre of conflict, signalling Tehran's willingness to strike European targets in the event of renewed hostilities. The warning comes amid heightened tensions in the region and growing concern over Iran's military posture toward Western nations perceived as supporting Israel.
German officials have not yet publicly responded to the Iranian threat. Germany has historically maintained a complex relationship with Iran, balancing diplomatic engagement with support for Israel and adherence to Western sanctions regimes.
