Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recorded another video warning to Iran on Sunday, stating that Israel has concrete intelligence of threats ahead of the approaching election.
"I'm here at one of our Arrow batteries. The IDF is prepared both defensively and offensively. We have intelligence signs that our enemies, Iran and its proxies, may try to challenge us with attacks in order to disrupt the election," Netanyahu said.
The prime minister issued a direct warning to Tehran:
"I am warning you: don't try us. You will absorb disproportionate blows, far stronger than you imagine. It will be a crushing blow for you.
"Don't be mistaken about us, don't try us," Netanyahu concluded.
This is not the first time the prime minister has claimed Iran is preparing an attack on Israel ahead of the upcoming election.
The chairman of the Central Elections Committee ruled on Sunday that an earlier Netanyahu video, filmed with Israeli fighter jets in the background, does not constitute illegal campaign propaganda, since the purpose of the filming was to deter the enemy.
