ANU — Museum of the Jewish People

In addition to intergenerational activities for the whole family and the permanent exhibition at ANU, Museum of the Jewish People, the museum offers activity in the beloved "Heroes" gallery, where visitors will learn in an innovative and interactive way about all the Jews who changed the face of history. Another experiential activity, titled "Keepers of Stories," includes a family mission sheet in which children and parents go on a joint adventure throughout the museum. Through riddles, clues and discovery missions, participants will encounter exhibits, names, traditions and stories, and discover how stories pass from generation to generation, and how their own family story is also part of a long chain of memory, heritage and identity. The activity, designed for children aged 7–12, lasts about two hours and includes a family riddle sheet and interactive stations.

Election day at the Biblical Zoo and Israel Aquarium

During the day off on October 27, the animals are also preparing for elections, polishing beaks, combing feathers and puffing out manes. Each party is preparing an updated platform and promising a sweeping victory.

The elections will be democratic, and the winning party will be chosen according to visitors' votes.

Among the participating parties you'll find the Turtle Party, which cares about home, the Flamingo Party, which will bring a rosy future, the Elephants, who believe in governmental stability, because an elephant cannot be toppled, the Parrots, who promise representation for all colours of the rainbow, and more.

At the Israel Aquarium it will also be stormy and turbulent. The Shark Party claims it's the only party with teeth, the Jellyfish promise complete transparency, and the Octopuses want to strengthen the arms of security.

Visitors are invited to walk and enjoy the zoo or aquarium, be impressed by the platforms and vote for the party that best matches their worldview. Each visitor can vote once.

At the zoo there will also be a family navigation game throughout the grounds.

Through dynamic voting, joint decisions and a constant element of surprise, you can choose which materials to combine and which direction the show will continue, so that no two shows are identical! Beyond the rhythmic and entertaining experience, the concept illustrates the essence of real scientific inquiry, a process that is not scripted in advance, but a series of choices and experiments showing how a small change in a single variable can lead to surprising discoveries and completely different results. The Botanical Garden

The general public is invited to come to the University Botanical Garden in Givat Ram, Jerusalem, and enjoy a day of family activity, nature and flowering, with elections of a completely different kind.

At the centre of the activity will be a special ballot box, where instead of choosing candidates and parties, visitors will vote for their favourite Israeli wildflower. Eight Israeli wildflowers will compete for visitors' votes, and everyone can choose the flower they think deserves to lead the Botanical Garden's seed project. A raffle will be held among participants in the voting, and one voter will win a prize.
