Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning to right-wing voters in an interview with 103FM, expressing deep concern over vote-splitting among right-wing parties and the prospect of multiple lists failing to cross the electoral threshold.
"Leitner, Noam, they will get tens of thousands of votes, they have no chance of reaching 170,000 votes. When you vote for them, you are effectively giving your vote to Mansour Abbas and Ahmad Tibi," Netanyahu claimed.
The prime minister went on to attack other parties running in the right-wing bloc. "Zelekha is a Meretz man, he demonstrated at Balfour and Kaplan, he supports Meretz economics. Zelekha is left-wing, and Yoaz Hendel who was a minister in a left-wing government, is with him."
Netanyahu's sharpest criticism was directed at Ofer Winter, chairman of the Amcha Yisrael party and a former IDF colonel. "Winter is an unbelievable story," Netanyahu said. "It's something else. We received clear signs that something is not right. He refused our offer of a senior position in Likud, he refused Bezalel's offer of a senior position with him, and said: 'I'm going alone.' A few days ago he said it was a mistake that he said he would recommend Netanyahu, he said 'Netanyahu can jump for me,' and then he hugs Gadi Eisenkot. He is tight with Avigdor Liberman, his friend from way back."
