Golan: Ban Netanyahu from social media

Democrats leader Yair Golan attacks Prime Minister after he shared image of nuclear bomb falling on Tel Aviv: The man and his circle have lost it. The pressure is mounting

Netanyahu and Golan

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted an image Sunday showing a nuclear bomb falling on Tel Aviv, as part of a social-media post repeating his warnings about the Iranian threat. Democrats leader Yair Golan responded by calling to remove Netanyahu from social media.

In the post, Netanyahu quoted Yuval Bloomberg, who argued that "the State of Israel is in real and tangible existential danger. If the Iranians obtain a nuclear weapon, nothing else will matter anymore. Everything is secondary compared to the existential danger of Iran and the Shiite axis. The manufactured and invented storms that appear every morning are designed to divert attention from the one thing that is most important: finishing the job in Iran. This affects the physical existence of every single person here."

Bloomberg's post, which Netanyahu shared, went on to claim that "we have two more years of Trump to finish the job in Iran, and there is no knowing what will come after that, whether it will be Kamala Harris, or some equivalent of Mamdani. This is the window of time we have left to complete the work required to ensure our physical existence for the coming years. All the state's resources that are needed should be invested in this mission."

"The hatred of Netanyahu, as much as it is everything for an entire camp, will not help against the Iranian nuclear program," Bloomberg warned in the post quoted by Netanyahu. "Anyone who cares about his physical existence, that of his family, and his loved ones, his hand should tremble before he chooses someone who will not be able to complete the mission, and thereby condemn himself and his family to the danger of a second Holocaust, because of his political hatred or because of some foolish and insignificant manufactured storm."

In response, Golan wrote on social media: "Update: The Prime Minister of Israel posted a picture of an atomic bomb over Tel Aviv. I am asking to remove him from social media. The man and his circle have lost it. The pressure is mounting. On Tuesday we will replace the panic-mongers and restore security and sanity to Israel."
