The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated two terrorists last week who were involved in transferring funds to Hamas' military wing. According to a joint statement from the IDF and Shin Bet spokespersons, the two operatives transferred millions of shekels during the war from the Iranian terror regime and from Turkey to the organization.
In a strike carried out last Wednesday in the Gaza City area, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Alaa Ibrahim Nimr Arshi, a cell commander in Hamas's military wing. In another strike carried out the day before in the Nuseirat area, Karam Riyad Hassan Abu Batiha was eliminated, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who worked to transfer funds to Hamas's military wing.
The IDF said the money the two terrorists moved had recently helped the group try to rebuild its military strength and push ahead with attacks on Israeli troops and civilians, in repeated violation of the ceasefire. Both were killed in an airstrike to remove the threat.
