"Regards to Zini": Cars Torched in Ramallah as Radical Graffiti Targets Shin Bet Chief
"Regards to Zini from Har HaMor." A daring overnight arson attack in Ramallah has sent a clear, threatening message to Israel's top domestic security official. Is this the start of a new wave of settler-led retaliation?

Palestinian security footage captured a brazen arson attack overnight in Ramallah, where masked individuals set fire to several parked vehicles. The attackers left behind Hebrew graffiti that directly challenged the head of Israel’s Shin Bet security agency, David Zini.
The graffiti, which read "Regards to Zini from Har HaMor," is a direct reference to the Shin Bet chief and a prominent radical religious-Zionist yeshiva. The act is widely believed to be a "Price Tag" response to the recent arrests of four Jewish settlers by the Shin Bet. Those detainees were reportedly held without access to legal counsel for several days before being released last week, a move that sparked outrage among right-wing activists.
The incident occurred as the region remains under a high state of alert. Just hours prior, IDF forces were deployed to the Talmon area in Binyamin following reports of gunfire from the direction of Ein Qiniya. While no injuries were reported, the IDF imposed a temporary closure on Ramallah as they conducted searches.
The Jerusalem Central Unit and the Shin Bet have opened an investigation into the arson, viewing the direct targeting of a high-ranking security official as a significant escalation in domestic extremist activity.
