Gallant To Elite Yahalom Troops: We Have Unique Solutions for Tunnels

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoke with soldiers in the Yahalom elite combat engineering unit, revealing that the IDF is energetically preparing for the tunnel challenge.

In conversations he held with Yahalom soldiers in the field, the Defense Minister declared that “we have unique solutions to reach all the tunnels and dismantle them underground. We are prepared to carry it out.”

He also added that “we will reach all locations and then the terrorists will have two options – die in the tunnel or come out. And there, either die from our forces’ fire or surrender unconditionally.”

Gallant ended by declaring that “there is no third option (for Hamas terrorists). These are the only options and this is how we operate.”
