IDF Criticized For Using Ground Rather Than Air Forces Against Terrorist-Occupied Building
Footage showing IDF forces fighting Hamas terrorists and losing two soldiers in a building has led to criticism of the army's tactics.

The IDF Spokesperson published bodycam footage of soldiers yesterday (Monday) covering a fight with Hamas terrorists in which two soldiers were killed. The release of this footage led to fierce criticism of the IDF for endangering the soldiers rather than using the air force to destroy the building.
The footage can be viewed here:
The Soldiers Mothers Forum, which includes hundreds of mothers of soldiers on the front, responded this morning to the footage, saying “the lives of our soldiers come prior to the lives of citizens of the enemy, no consideration must stop the strong hand of the IDF – not a humanitarian consideration, not international considerations, and not any other consideration – only the operational consideration. Don’t unnecessarily endanger our soldiers. Crush the enemy without mercy.”
“We see the reports, that we lost two of our sons in a battle up close, instead of where the building could have been brought down before from the air and we say in a clear voice to the IDF and the political leadership – we will not allow our soldiers to be harmed for foreign considerations this time. Where there is a doubt, there is no doubt."
"The IDF is strong, we are behind you – use all the tools for victory, and this without unnecessarily endangering our soldiers. We are strong, the nation is strong, the sons are strong – be strong as well against all the pressures. Together we will trample the enemy until victory,” the mothers added.
