A short time ago (Thursday), the IDF struck a number of Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including military structures in the areas of Ayta ash-Shab, Rab Thalathine, and Markaba, as well as a military structure and two observation posts in the Odaisseh area.
Watch:
Meanwhile, yesterday Foreign Minister Katz spoke with French Foreign Minister Séjourné about "new ideas" to "reach a political solution that befits the interests of all sides," and that the Lebanon front was at the "heart" of their meeting, according to Lebanese news portal Naharnet.
The Foreign Minister made no direct mention of Lebanon in his statement on X regarding his meeting with his French counterpart, instead stressing the agreement between the two countries about the danger presented by Iran, the unacceptability of a unilaterally created Palestinian state, and the rejection of the ICC Prosecutor's equation between Israel and Hamas in his prosecution of war crimes in the region.
