Watch: IDF strikes Hezbollah military structures in Aitaroun and Ayta ash-Shab

Meanwhile, multiple projectiles launched from Lebanon have been intercepted or landed mostly in open areas.

The IDF struck a number of Hezbollah military structures today (Monday) in Aitaroun and Ayta ash-Shab in southern Lebanon.

Previously, the IDF successfully intercepted two suspicious aerial objects off the coast of Nahariyah today.

Two additional targets crossing from Lebanon fell in the area of Kibbutz Kabri, causing a fire and damage to the area. The IDF said that it is investigating the matter.

The IDF also used artillery fire to suppress threats in the areas of a-Salihani, Ayta ash-Shab, and Hanine areas in southern Lebanon.

A number of anti-tank missile launches were identified towards the areas of Manara, Yir'on, Avivim, Margaliyot.

A number of hits to buildings were identified in Manara and Yir'on. Fires also broke out in the Yir'on and Yiftach areas and another fire broke out in the Manara area and was quickly put out.

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who is on a visit to the region to advance a proposed ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas reportedly said while in Egypt that "The situation in northern Israel is complex, but Israel does not have to respond to every launch of a UAV or rocket by Hezbollah.”
