The council has called for inhabitants to stay near protected spaces, minimize public gatherings, and curtail non-essential travel and activities within the immediate vicinity until a subsequent announcement is made.
The official statement specifies the following areas where residents are required to remain close to protected spaces with immediate effect:
- Sha'al
- Ortal
- Ein Zivan
- Merom Golan
- El Rom
- Kela Alon
- Trump Heights
- Odem
- Neve Ativ
- Nimrod
This directive follows a recent attack by Hezbollah in northern Israel, targeting the Nahariya area and Western Galilee. The incident resulted in injuries to two civilians, with one reported to be in critical condition.
