A tragedy occurred Friday morning in Givat Shmuel, when a 60 year-old man fell from the balcony of his 4th-floor home while dismantling his sukkah after the holiday; he was critically injured and pronounced dead at the hospital.

The 60-year-old tripped and lost his balance and took a hard fall. Neighbors who saw what was happening rushed to call the medical forces. The rescue teams that arrived at the scene performed CPR on him, and then evacuated him to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, in critical condition.
