Bezalel Smotrich: These are my conditions for a ceasefire
As the cabinet convenes to vote on a ceasefire, Religious Zionism leader and Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich lays out his conditions for an affirmative vote.

Religious Zionism party leader and Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich just released his four conditions for an affirmative vote for a ceasefire in the north, in preparation for the cabinet meeting on the deal today (Tuesday).
These are the conditions:
1. Any removal of IDF forces from the Lebanon sector requires a cabinet vote.
2. A policy of enforcing of violations to be voted on within 48 hours in the cabinet.
3. Every demolished home in southern Lebanon will be defined as military infrastructure and will not be allowed to be rebuilt.
4. Lebanon will be held responsible for any violation, which will lead to attacks on Lebanese infrastructure.
Likud MK and Agricultural Minister Avi Dichter previously said that he would not vote in favor of any deal that was a "copy-paste" of UN Resolution 1701.
