In the background of the progress in the negotiations for the release of hostages, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar published this morning some sections of the deal, including the number of days the ceasefire will last and the number of hostages to be released during it.

According to the report, the outline is supposed to include 60 days of a ceasefire in the first phase, and the release of 30 live Israeli hostages in exchange for the release of prisoners from Israeli jails and the entry of additional supplies into the Gaza Strip. However, the newspaper reports that Israel has been working in recent days to shorten the first ceasefire period so that it would last less than 60 days.

It also emerges from the report that the group of hostages to be released in the first phase consists of the women who are in captivity, while in Israel, immense pressure is being exerted to secure a deal that will release everyone in one go. In Israel, they understand that for this to happen, Hamas will demand quite a few prices, and in Israel, they are examining their implications.
