Ahead of the release of eight hostages this morning (Thursday), Hamas, as is their wont, has constructed a "stage" on which to hold a despicable ceremony in which it glorifies its evil actions.

The release, according to Palestinian reports, will come from three locations. Hamas has already set up a stage among the rubble in Jabaliya, where a ceremony similar to the one carried out in the release of the four observation posts is expected to take place last Saturday.

However, it is not clear which of the hostages will be released from this location. At the same time, it was also reported that another "ceremony" would take place in the Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip – in front of the destroyed house of Yahya Sinwar. Reports of preparations also came from Palestine Square in Gaza.

The IDF is preparing for the return of the hostages starting at 9:00 a.m., and Israel estimated yesterday that the release itself will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. In addition, the army is preparing for liberation from several different areas in the Gaza Strip, as well as for several pulses during the morning. All the hostages who will be released today will be transferred to the absorption complex in Re'im, where they will meet their families, and then they will be transferred to hospitals.

The assessment in Israel is that Hamas has an interest in completing the next two phases – today and the one on Saturday, when three men are supposed to be released alive from captivity – because of the importance of opening the Rafah crossing, which is supposed to open between Friday and Saturday, by the 14th day of the ceasefire.
