Yossi Dagan responds to Jordan Valley terror attack: Stop releasing terrorists!
The Samaria Council Head warned that releasing terrorists into Judea and Samaria as part of the hostage deal was a serious mistake.

Samaria Council head Yossi Dagan responded today (Tuesday) to the terrorist attack in the Jordan valley which wounded eight, including two critically, by calling for a much tougher stance on terrorism in Judea and Samaria.
In his statement, Dagan said that:
"Murderous terrorism strikes again, and we must not continue with this weak policy. Just as we eliminated terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, we must act the same way in Judea and Samaria - with an iron fist, determination, and without hesitation. There is no difference between a terrorist from Nablus and a terrorist from Khan Yunis. I demand that the Prime Minister and Defense Minister order the targeted elimination of all terrorist leaders and stop any thought of releasing terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
"The head of the Samaria Regional Council strengthened the security forces operating in the field: "We embrace the IDF soldiers and security forces who are on the frontlines and physically protecting Israeli citizens. We strengthen them, give them our full backing, and demand that the political echelon give them all the tools to achieve victory."
The Yesha Council advocating for all settlers in Judea and Samaria also responded to the attack:
"In this difficult hour, we seek to strengthen the IDF soldiers and their commanders.
"The tenacious fighting of our heroic warriors keeps the cursed terrorists away from the homes of Israeli citizens and prevents scenes similar to October 7th from happening in Afula and Netanya, God forbid.
"This morning's attack proves again that Arab terrorism seeks to harm the State of Israel and IDF soldiers.
"The Israeli government has a duty to defeat Arab terrorism and declare Israeli sovereignty that will prevent the establishment of a terrorist state in the heart of the land."
The attack took place early this morning when a terrorist approached a military outpost in the northern Jordan Valley and engaged in a firefight with the soldiers, wounding eight before being eliminated.
