The Truth Revealed: Terrorist Infiltrated Military Compound and Opened Fire on Soldiers | New Details
The terrorist who injured eight soldiers, including two critically, reportedly managed to infiltrate a military outpost and even possibly fire from a pillbox position.

A terrorist opened fire this morning (Tuesday) towards Israelis at a checkpoint near Tayasir village in the Jenin sector. At least seven were injured as a result of the terrorist's gunfire, including two in critical condition. IDF soldiers returned fire and after an exchange of fire, the terrorist was eliminated at the scene. Air Force helicopters were dispatched to assist in evacuating the wounded.
Additional details about the severe attack are now emerging, according to which the terrorist managed to breach the military checkpoint and infiltrate the compound where soldiers were stationed - a military position with a pillbox, where there are buildings where the soldiers stay.
After managing to infiltrate the compound around 6 AM, he drew his rifle and opened fire, leading to an exchange of fire that lasted several minutes between him and the soldiers at the scene, until the soldiers managed to neutralize him while he was still inside the compound.
The medical team that arrived at the scene had to wait until the exchange of fire ended, after which two helicopters were dispatched to evacuate seven wounded, including two in critical condition, to the hospital.
According to Doron Kadosh's report, despite having a Zik drone in the air, the Air Force chose not to use it to eliminate the terrorist from the air, apparently due to operational considerations to avoid harming soldiers on the ground - since the terrorist was already inside the compound.
Four intensive care units and three ambulances arrived at the scene, and six additional ambulances were dispatched to the helicopter landing pads at Rambam and Beilinson hospitals. An MDA helicopter was dispatched to the event and placed on standby in a nearby area. After initial medical treatment at the scene and at the helicopter landing pad, 4 wounded were evacuated to Beilinson Hospital, and two wounded to Rambam Hospital.
MDA paramedic Denis Polkov said: "We arrived at the scene with MDA ambulances and intensive care units, together with IDF medical forces we provided medical treatment to 6 wounded who were evacuated by IDF helicopters and we evacuated them by ambulances from the landing pads at the hospitals to the trauma rooms."
Beilinson Hospital spokesperson stated: "4 wounded from the attack in northern Samaria arrived at the trauma room of Beilinson Hospital from the Clalit Group. They are currently undergoing initial assessment. Further updates to follow."
Rambam spokesperson: "2 wounded from the shooting attack in the Jordan Valley were evacuated to Rambam. Currently being examined in the trauma room and undergoing imaging. We will update regarding their condition later."
