Giora Eiland and Rabbi Eli Sadan in issue joint call to the Prime Minister

Head of the Eli preparatory program Rabbi Eli Sadan and Major General (Res.) Giora Eiland released a joint video in which they called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the water supply to the Gaza Strip.

The video was filmed near the Gaza Strip border next to the water pipe that serves the Gazans. "This water pipe streams water to Gaza," said Eiland. "On October 7th, the pipe continued to stream water to Gaza." Rabbi Sadan said: "We had no way to distinguish between the civilian population and Hamas, and therefore we could not stop the humanitarian aid. Today, when 50% of the Gaza Strip is in the hands of the IDF, there is no problem at all cutting off the water and announcing to the civilian population that whoever wants water should move south to places where the IDF is present."

Eiland emphasized that the most important thing is water. "The elementary thing that the State of Israel can, should, and must have done on October 7th is that if the hostages don't return - the water is cut off."

Rabbi Eli Sadan emphasized: "Mr. Prime Minister, after more than a year of war, enough! It's impossible to continue this way. A war where the civilian population and the terrorists operate together is impossible to decide, there is no more immoral act than on one hand sending the army to fight Hamas, and on the other hand constantly supplying Hamas with what it needs. Cut off the water and within a few weeks you get the victory you want."
