President Herzog like you've never seen him before
REVEALED: Israeli President Slams BBC for 'Biased' Hamas Coverage - Here's What He Said
This marks one of the strongest public rebukes of international media coverage by an Israeli president, highlighting growing tensions between Israeli officials and foreign media outlets over their portrayal of the ongoing conflict.

In an unusually forceful appearance, Israeli President Isaac Herzog launched a scathing attack on the BBC Sunday morning, condemning what he called the network's "scandalous" practice of drawing false equivalencies between Hamas terrorists and Israeli civilian hostages.
During a tense interview with Laura Kuenssberg, Herzog displayed rare public anger as he addressed the BBC's editorial approach to covering the Israel-Hamas conflict. "I categorically reject this comparison," Herzog said, his voice carrying clear frustration. "The fact that the BBC continues to promote this equivalence is not just outrageous - it's completely detached from reality."
The President landed a particularly pointed criticism when discussing Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, noting with bitter irony that "These prisoners don't even want to return to Gaza - they prefer staying in Israeli prisons. Your false equivalence is not just wrong, it's scandalous, and I urge you all to abandon this approach and recognize that the October 7 massacre was an attack on the entire free world."
Herzog's comments took on an especially emotional tone when discussing three hostages - Eli, Ohad, and Or - who were rescued yesterday. "These men were held in underground tunnels for months. No outside contact. Barely any food. They've returned to us completely emaciated, covered in wounds, suffering from countless injuries - and that's before we even begin to address their psychological trauma. Everyone who saw them emerging from Hamas's brutal captivity was shocked to their core."
The President repeatedly emphasized the fundamental difference between Israel's democratic legal system and what he described as Hamas's "barbaric terrorist actions," challenging the BBC to acknowledge this distinction in its coverage.
