Hostage Omri Miran's brother reveals first proof of life since capture
Released captive confirms Omri Miran was alive in Gaza tunnels in July 2024.

Omri Miran was separated him from his wife Lishi and their two daughters and taken from Kibbutz Nachal Oz on October 7.
A former hostage has provided the first confirmation of Omri's condition in Gaza, his brother Boaz revealed today (Tuesday). The testimony offers a glimpse into the 494 days of captivity endured by the Nachal Oz resident since October 7.
According to Boaz Miran, the released hostage reported that his brother was "generally okay" during their shared captivity, with the group being held in both tunnels and apartments. However, the information dates back to July 2024, when Hamas separated the hostages.
"Five minutes after that last sighting, everything could have changed," Boaz Miran cautioned during his statement. "Hamas may have separated them because they belong to different categories of hostages, especially when there was talk of a deal in July."
The family is now urgently calling for a comprehensive release agreement. "The hostages are not in good condition," Boaz emphasized. "They won't survive if this is split into prolonged phases. If we're already negotiating, bring everyone back at once."
The revelation comes as negotiations continue over the release of remaining hostages, with families increasingly vocal about the urgent need for a comprehensive deal rather than a phased approach.
