CAUGHT ON CAMERA: 16-Year-Old Robs Parents’ Galilee Home, Sends Chilling Death Threats to Father
A 16-year-old in Northern Israel faces severe charges at the Haifa Juvenile Court after robbing his parents' apartment of cash, gold, and a wall-safe before threatening a family shooting.

A 16-year-old in northern Israel has been indicted after breaking into his own parents' home, stealing a wall-mounted safe, cash, passports, and gold jewelry, and then threatening his father in voice messages, Israeli police said.
The incident came to light roughly two and a half weeks ago when the boy's father filed a complaint with Israel Police reporting a break-in at the family's Galilee apartment. The stolen items included a safe that had been bolted to the wall, 12,000 shekels in cash, passports, and valuable gold jewelry.
Northern District officers launched an investigation and collected security camera footage. Reviewing the recordings, the father recognized his own son, seen climbing through a window, breaking a glass door, taking the items, and fleeing the apartment.
Investigators determined that the teen, angered at not receiving money from his parents, waited until an evening when they left the home and then carried out the break-in.
The case took a more alarming turn when the teenager sent his father threatening voice messages. "Tonight I'll shoot at my grandmother and at my uncle's house," he said in one recording, and in another: "Now you're going to hide, just like you hid the cards."
The teen has been indicted in the Haifa Juvenile Court on charges of residential burglary, theft in concert, threats, and malicious property damage.
