Israel's Health Ministry has issued a public warning urging consumers to avoid drinking soft drinks sold under the Njoy and Joicy brands.
The alert follows an inspection by the ministry's Food Service supervisors in the Central District, conducted jointly with Israeli police. Inspectors discovered an unlicensed beverage production facility operating in the Arab-Israeli city of Tira. The factory was found to be operating under severely substandard sanitary conditions that pose a potential health risk to the public.
The warning applies to all Njoy brand drinks, produced by MG and marketed by Daas Group, in grape, apple, mango, lemon-mint, grapefruit, orange, and strawberry-banana flavors. The ministry also cautioned against consuming Joicy brand grape-flavored drinks, which are manufactured and packaged by Daas Group. Consumers are advised not to drink any of these products.
