The confrontation continues: Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Liberman responded Wednesday to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attack against him, following his proposal to allow Jordan to exercise security and administrative control over Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria.

"The only one who declared willingness to establish a Palestinian state, in the Bar-Ilan speech, is Benjamin Netanyahu," Liberman said. "I have said multiple times and I repeat: the Palestinian Authority is a terror organization, and the division between it and Hamas is clear. Hamas specializes in armed terror, and the Palestinian Authority in diplomatic terror. Therefore, the State of Israel must create territorial continuity between all Area C territories and maintain absolute control there."
"In parallel, we must find an alternative for administrative and security control in Areas A and B," he added. "I strongly oppose Israel managing the lives of Palestinians in Shechem, Jenin or Tulkarm. Therefore, in order to prevent a vacuum into which Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terrorists will enter, we need to reach an agreement with Jordan on their management of Areas A and B, an Israeli-Jordanian confederation."
Concluding his remarks, Liberman attacked Netanyahu: "Someone who supported expelling Jews from Gush Katif, who freed Yahya Sinwar and another 1,026 terrorists, and who initiated the transfer of Qatari money into the Gaza Strip, has no right to preach morality to anyone."
