The head of Military Intelligence presented dramatic new figures to the security cabinet on the scale of the October 7 massacre and the IDF's progress in eliminating those who took part.
According to political correspondent Shirit Avitan Cohen, the intelligence chief told ministers that of the 6,000 terrorists who crossed the border fence on October 7, 4,000 have been eliminated.
The Military Intelligence chief emphasized to cabinet members the security establishment's commitment to settling accounts with every participant in the attack. "2,000 remain," he said. "We will get to the last one of them."
