The IDF eliminated a senior commander in Hamas's spotter network in a precision airstrike after he tracked Israeli forces operating in the Gaza Strip, the military announced.
The strike, carried out in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, killed Muad Jamal Abu Natzira, a commander in the military wing of the Hamas terror organization. According to the IDF spokesperson, Abu Natzira's surveillance activities posed a direct threat to forces on the ground.
In a separate airstrike, the IDF eliminated Mahmoud Ibrahim Dib Alian, a Hamas spotter operative.
The military said Alian had recently been identified advancing terror operations against IDF forces in the Yellow Line area and working to rebuild the organization's capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement. He was killed in an airstrike.
