The recalled ice cream

Ben & Jerry's Israel is recalling its Milk & Honey ice cream flavor in a joint decision with the Health Ministry after a consumer reported finding a plastic-like foreign object in the product.

The company announced the voluntary recall as a precautionary measure following the complaint. The recall applies to specific batch codes of the 432-gram containers.

Product details: Milk & Honey flavor, Ben & Jerry's brand, 432 grams. Manufacturer: American Quality Products (Mutzrei Eichut Amerikaim). Barcode: 7290018441527.

The affected batches carry "best before" dates printed on the bottom of the container: 07/05/27, 08/05/27, and 25/11/27.

Consumers who have purchased the product are advised not to eat it. In coordination with the Health Ministry's Food Service, American Quality Products is collecting the affected batches from retail outlets.
