Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Ofer Winter during a conference of religious-Zionist rabbis, attended by hundreds of rabbis and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
The conference was led by Binyamin Regional Council head and Yesha Council chairman Israel Gantz, who was appointed to head the campaign to increase voter turnout in the right-wing bloc. During his remarks, Netanyahu warned against lost votes and laid out two scenarios he said Winter faces.
"We cannot afford to lose a single vote," Netanyahu said. "We need to tell those among us first of all: don't vote, don't waste a single vote."
Netanyahu presented two possible scenarios in his remarks: "Don't waste votes that could not only fail to pass the threshold but could pass and go to the other side. Two things: not passing or passing and transferring."
The prime minister added a warning that the political situation is especially tight: "Right now we're on the edge."
Shortly after the remarks, Winter's response arrived.
"There's a third option," Winter said, "different right-wing leadership that will work to eliminate the enemy and not the people of Israel."
