Yesh! party chairman Gadi Eisenkot condemned Channel 14 as he left the national memorial ceremony marking the third anniversary of the October 7th massacre, accusing the right-wing outlet of ignoring the event.
"Just leaving the families' ceremony marking the October 7th disaster, the heroism of civilians and the magnificent Israeli solidarity that saved lives," Eisenkot wrote.
According to the former IDF chief of staff, "the fact that the regime channel shamefully ignored the October 7th families' ceremony and continued as usual in the spirit of the ruling party fleeing responsibility by spreading hatred, in another miserable attempt to rewrite history while hurting an entire nation's pain, is disgraceful and must have no place in Israeli society."
The ceremony took place at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv to mark three years since the October 7th massacre, organized by the "Komu" movement and bereaved families.
The event, held for the third year and broadcast to sites across the country, drew some 50,000 people, including families of fallen soldiers and survivors of captivity.
