Einav Zangauker, whose son Matan was among the 20 living hostages brought home a year ago, published a scathing post attacking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over an interview he gave last night.
"We will never forget the 46 brothers and sisters who were kidnapped alive and could have been saved," Zangauker wrote. "And instead of bowing his head and asking forgiveness, the man who for three years prevented an investigation by every possible means came to his propaganda studio yesterday and began spreading conspiracy theories against the army and against IDF soldiers."
She continued with sharp criticism of the prime minister's conduct on air: "This interview was knives in the heart of the bereaved families and of everyone hurt by the failure. The murder of close to 2,000 Israelis has become a cynical campaign event for the Qatari advisers running the State of Israel. They want the citizens of the state to hate the IDF. What Bibi did yesterday is worse than Al Jazeera's broadcasts."
