Likud candidate Yaakov Bardugo attacked former chief of staff and MK Gadi Eisenkot in a radio interview on Galei Israel Sunday morning, calling him "a clown" and challenging him to a public debate ahead of the 2026 elections.
"This clown, Gadi Eisenkot," Bardugo opened in an interview with host Avi Ratzon, explaining the harsh criticism: "Why do I call him a clown? Because he's the first to jump up and talk about the defendant law or this or that legislation. A man who doesn't understand the first thing about separation of powers. Gadi Eisenkot is really a puppet being run by Manlis, who tells him 'go say it like this.'"
