Aviv Bushinsky, who served as Prime Minister Netanyahu's spokesman, said Wednesday on Radio 103FM that he expects Netanyahu to appear on Channel 12 in the coming days, though not with the network's main news anchors.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Netanyahu suddenly shows up on Channel 12, but not with Yonit Levy or Keren Marciano, maybe with Avri and Sharki or on 'The Winning Kitchen,'" Bushinsky said, referring to the channel's lighter programming.

"His goal is to reach the undecided voters, and they're watching the 'panic and hysteria channels,'" he added.

Netanyahu has given interviews to several outlets in recent weeks but has not appeared on Channel 12 News. The network has said Netanyahu is avoiding tough questions and interviewers he considers hostile.

On Tuesday night, a week before the election, Netanyahu traveled to the Eli pre-military academy and met with the head of the yeshiva, Rav Eli Sadan, who is also the rabbi of Ofer Winter, leader of the Zehut party.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich joined the meeting, against the backdrop of polls both men received Tuesday night showing growing concern that Winter will fall below the electoral threshold. The urgent meeting with Rav Sadan was arranged in an effort to prevent wasted votes for the right-wing bloc.

According to a report by Meluhadim News, sources involved in the matter say that during the conversation, Rav Eli Sadan told Prime Minister Netanyahu: "I am convinced that Ofer Winter needs to withdraw. I have no influence over him on this matter."
