Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Liberman has launched a sharp attack on voices within the change bloc calling for the formation of a minority government, warning that such a move would play directly into the hands of Benjamin Netanyahu.
"Anyone among us talking about a minority government is crowning Netanyahu within half a year for a four-year term with at least 70 mandates," Liberman told ynet. "Supporting a minority government means handing Netanyahu the premiership as a gift."
Liberman drew a comparison to the previous change-government experiment, making clear that reliance on Arab parties would lead to an even faster collapse.
