Boris Tetleroyd Named as 13th Victim of Bondi Massacre
He just wanted to celebrate Chabad's Hanukkah by the Sea party on Bondi beach. That decision cost him his life.

As the community continues to mourn the victims of the mass shooting at Bondi Beach on December 15, 2025, authorities have released the name of the 13th victim, identified as Boris Tetleroyd.
Boris, a beloved husband and father, was among the 15 people killed during a Hanukkah event that turned deadly, marking one of the darkest moments in recent Australian history.
The attack, which targeted a crowded gathering of the Jewish community, left 42 others injured, with 21 still receiving medical treatment as of today. Boris was attending the event with his son when they were both shot.
While his son survived and is currently recovering in the hospital, Boris succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a wife now facing life as a widow and a family grappling with profound loss.
His niece, Leia Roitour, shared the family's heartache through a GoFundMe page, describing Boris as the "primary provider" for his family. "Our family is grieving the sudden and violent loss of a beloved husband and father in the Bondi attack," she wrote, highlighting the devastating impact on his wife and the ongoing challenges they face as his son continues to heal.
The tragedy has also prompted a surge in blood donations across Australia, with nearly 50,000 appointments made in the wake of the shooting, reflecting a national outpouring of solidarity.
