Candace Owens Accuses Trump Administration of Killing Charlie Kirk

Candace Owens has gone full tinfoil hat, accusing Donald Trump and his own administration of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Her latest viral rant weaves Trump, Israel, the CIA, and Mossad into a conspiracy web that makes QAnon look tame.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens has escalated her conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, directly implicating President Donald Trump and his administration in the crime during a recent episode of her show.

In a clip from her podcast that quickly went viral on X, Owens claimed Kirk "gave so much of his life to Trump & to politics, and they were just like NOPE. That’s it. So here’s a holiday. What is with them giving them a holiday after they kill them? As soon as they give you a holiday, they definitely killed you."

She concluded the segment with a smile, adding, "Anyway, see you guys next week," while insisting she "just knows" the allegation is true.

The remarks appear to reference recent declarations of holidays or memorials in Kirk's honor, which Owens bizarrely interprets as evidence of foul play by those in power. The claim ties into Owens' broader narrative of a massive conspiracy involving Trump, Israel, the CIA, Mossad, and other entities, which she has been promoting since Kirk's death on September 10, 2025.

Kirk was shot and killed by 21-year-old Tyler Robinson during a debate at Utah Valley University, in what authorities have described as a targeted attack linked to possible online radicalization or personal grievances. No evidence has emerged to support any involvement by Trump or his associates, and the official investigation continues without indication of such elaborate plots.

Reactions on X were swift and scathing. WarClandestine posted the clip, calling Owens a "lunatic" and warning that anyone taking her seriously "cannot be helped." GigaBeers described the rhetoric as "reckless," suggesting Owens is "feeding the same hysteria she used to mock" and signaling a "complete meltdown, while PoliticsOnX highlighted the accusation as "disgusting."

Owens, who previously worked with Kirk at Turning Point USA before a public fallout, has a history of unsubstantiated claims about his death. These include allegations of betrayal by TPUSA staff, pressure from Jewish donors over Israel-related views, and even dreams where Kirk allegedly confirmed he was "betrayed."

She has also speculated about decoys, a mysterious woman with the shooter, and irregularities in records, drawing criticism from fellow conservatives like Ian Miles Cheong and Eyal Yakoby, who have called her theories "unhinged" and accused her of cowardice among those who fail to denounce them. Kirk's widow, Erika, has not publicly endorsed any of Owens' theories, despite Owens' claim that she "knows everything."

Mainstream outlets have noted how such conspiracies from right-wing figures like Owens are fueling division amid rising political tensions.

As the 2025 election cycle intensifies, Owens' increasingly outlandish accusations risk further polarizing conservative circles. The FBI's probe into Kirk's assassination remains ongoing, with no updates suggesting the involvement of high-profile political figures.
